The testo 770 Clamp Meter is ideally suited for current measurement in switching cabinets. A major advantage of the testo 770 is the fully retractable pincer. This unique mechanism means that cables in tight switching cabinets can be easily grabbed.
Another strong feature is the automatic measurement parameter detection. This ensures fast and reliable work: in the current and voltage area, all three versions of the clamp meter detect direct and alternating current and automatically select other parameters such as resistance, diode, capacitance, and continuity where applicable.
The testo 770-1 clamp meter is the standard version, perfect for the majority of daily measuring tasks, including starting current measurement.
The testo 770-2 also has a μA range as well as an integrated temperature adapter for all type K thermocouples.
In addition to the above features, the testo 770-3 model offers a performance measurement function and can be connected to the testo Smart Probes App by Bluetooth. In the App, you can display the measurement progression as a graph and document it directly into downloadable PDF reports. Another huge strength of the 770-3 version is it has the facility to measure Power/Wattage, and auto-calculates this.
